Do you have a niche for art? Alta offers an enjoyable club to express yourself through your special talent. Every 2nd Tuesday of the month members of the club go to room 1911 at 2:40-3:30 and socialize making lots of new friends through their common gift.
“We work outside the curriculum and the normal art classes,” club advisor Mr. Albert says. “Last time we had students brainstorm what they wanted to do and they decided on stained glass.”
Another great reason to join is to get better. Art Club is a fantastic way to work on and improve your talent. Mr. Albert adds that the number one goal of the club, “is to have a safe space to nerd out about art.” Every student is welcome and safe to express themselves through what they love and have fun while doing it. In high school it’s definitely important and can be hard to express yourself throughout the path to becoming an adult; however, teens have commonly found a way to do so through art. It’s definitely worth checking out!
