At just past the half point of the season, the Hawks Varsity Volleyball team is going strong with a 10-6 record. Coming fresh out of the loss to the West Panthers, they take on the Olympus Titans on October 1. Right now, the Hawks have things rolling on the court, but how are they going off the court?
“Everyone’s really kind and nice,” said Asher Berger, setter for the Freshman team. “I think we play well together, sometimes people get mad at each other, but that’s just part of the sport.”
With one month left in the season, it would seem as if the Hawks have things pretty well rounded. As the Hawks soar into the second half of the season, playing well on court is important, but being a good, respectful teammate is key to victory.
