This year for homecoming-
Matching Monday-
Matching monday was for the couples, besties and friend groups. Students matched their clothes with their friends or significant other, creating a clear connection between those wanting to be connected.
Tradition Tuesday-
With tradition Tuesday, students were to wear the Alta colors, separated by year. Seniors wore black, Juniors wore white, Sophomores wore silver and Freshmen wore red. Teachers also joined the fray by wearing Alta merch.
Wakey Wakey Wednesday-
Students wore their pjs to school, creating a comfy cozy environment.
Thursday, Adventure of a lifetime-
Seniors were Tundra, Juniors were Desert, Sophomores were Forest, Freshmen were Aquatic and Teachers were themed as Tourists.
Fire Friday-
The point of fire Friday was to wear red. The blazing color of our school was carried through as more than half of the students ended up wearing red and showing their school pride.
When walking the halls during homecoming week, it was interesting seeing where people were in their schooling just by their dress. If you contributed to the hoco dress code, give yourself a cookie. We can’t give you anything, but you can give yourself something.
We at the Hawkeye hope you had a wonderful time during homecoming, and hope you continue to have a wonderful time while attending this amazing school. Go hawks!
