With Valentine’s day right around the corner, some of us are going to have a wide open day to spend with our friends, dates and families. With this happy day coming up, we wanted to provide some nostalgic craft ideas for the big day so you have an epic bonding activity, and a cute project that you get the satisfaction of knowing you made it.
- Candy Message Garland
These cute hard candies have crept their ways into every heart (and digestive system) one way or another. And what better way to celebrate V-day than with a sweet garland that you can hang in your own house, or give to someone as a gift.
- Message Tulip Hearts
These sweet messages are the perfect way to make a sweet message for somebody. If you bake them a cake as dirt and stick them in, it could be a super cute “valentines garden” that you can share with your friends and family.
- Compliment Butterflies
This is a super cute activity to get into the holiday spirit with your friends. All you need is a popsicle stick, colored paper, markers, and a heart-full of valentines cheer. It doesn’t have to be just compliments either, you can write sweet messages for yourself, friends, family, or a date!
- Heart Friend
Our 4th and final idea for you is the classic heart friend. This was made by every 2nd grade class in history. You can dress it up, color it, give it a name, and a beautiful smile! All this project requires is white and pink paper, and markers of your choice.
