Utah’s weather has gone completely off the rails lately! Seriously, the “weather whiplash” is real—we are dealing with constant up and down levels of warm days and cold days that make it impossible to know how to dress. This season does not even feel like Winter at all! Usually, we’re shoveling driveways and dealing with grey slush, but this year? The massive lack of snow totally killed the Winter vibes. It’s like the seasons forgot their cue.

As of this Friday, we are looking at a high of 80!!! In March?! Utah, what is actually going on? We are basically skipping the transition and jumping straight into Summer. It feels like we’ve traded our parkas for flip-flops overnight.

But at the end of the day, can we really complain? It’s been so nice having dry roads safe from snow accidents and that messy mountain commute. That is a massive upside to all of this, plus having that nice warmth to play outside and soak up the sun without freezing.

It definitely makes you wonder, though—if we’re hitting 80 degrees now, what do you think Spring’s weather will be? Are we headed for a super early heatwave, or is Mother Nature just teasing us before one last random blizzard? Either way, it’s a wild ride!
