The Hawkeye has composed a list of three fun places students can go to over the weekend.
1. Gilgal Sculpture Garden:
The Gigal Sculpture Garden is a small local garden in SLC filled with many unique works of art. It holds famous sculptures like the Joseph Smith Sphinx. The garden is open most days and costs nothing. Overall a great place to stop by if you are near.
2. 9th And 9th:
9th And 9th is a popular street at 900 south 900 east. It is a popular spot for small local stores and restaurants. Complemented by a giant whale statue in the center of 9th and 9th. This is for sure a great place to visit one evening.
3. Utah Suspension Bridge
The Utah Suspension Bridge is a fun and beautiful 2 mile round trip hike to the large suspension bridge on Wasatch. It has been rated as a fun, family friendly hike which is good to do on a weekend.
