Book March Madness Underway
Vote for your favorite book in this year's March Book Madness.
Alta High School will be starting its fifth annual March Book Madness competition at the beginning of March.
The competition is a twist on the NCAA basketball tournaments. Its bracket style tournament for books. Books are put together and voted on which is better. Last year was cut short due to covid, however, this year it’s back.
This years books include: Tiny Pretty Things by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra, Long Way Down by Jacob Reynolds, The Angel Experiment by James Patterson, The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, Dune by Frank Herbert, Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz, Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu, There’s someone inside your house by Stephanie Perkins, Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey, Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, On the Come Up by Angie Thomas, The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, To All the Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Jhan, and Monster by Walter Dean Myers.
This year’s books revolve around the theme: Books turned into movies/shows. So be sure to check out the board in the library and vote during your advisory class!
