Quarantine Trends
Now more than ever, students are using fashion to express themselves. The Corona Virus quarantine in 2020 influenced teens like crazy. With social media being one of the main connections to others, trends spread like crazy.
The popular trends of 2020-2021 are becoming more oversized, layered and even cheaper since many students shop at Savers or thrift stores for their clothes. Nike Air Forces or Jordan’s, oversized graphic tees, platform converse and Dickies pants are all the rage this year! Teens accessorize with lots of rings, Saint Christopher necklaces and beanies.
Mullets and curly hair are everywhere, since many people grew their hair out during quarantine. More than past years, teens are letting their hair down to be more natural, and some even have unexpected curls!
FjallRaven Kanken backpacks have remained popular these past few years and a handful of upperclassmen even wear cartoon or Disney character backpacks as a joke.
