The Ballroom Team will showcase their year of hard work this weekend Friday, April 23 and Monday April 26 in the Performing Arts Center.
Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 and only available online at tickets.shovation.com. Face masks will be required for the audience.
This year’s team is excited to perform on the new stage. For Ryan Wilkey, it’s a time to shine and show what they can do. “I’m especially excited to get to perform so many dances that haven’t been seen yet,” he said. “We love performing and having fun.”
Advisor Diana Hunt is proud of what they have put together. “The concert will be amazing,” she said. “These students have spent countless hours preparing for their moments on stage.”
Junior Kate Thayne said performing is scary, but she’s excited for the concert. “I’m so excited to get the feeling of adrenaline that performing gives us,” she said. “I’m also looking forward to performing with the seniors on the team one last time. It’s bittersweet.”
This is their first concert after numerous competitions throughout the year and the team will present 17 numbers.
