Last Day to Buy Socks to Help Raise Money For an Amputee

It is the last day to buy socks from Alta High School FCCLA! This money will be raised to help buy a new prosthetic for an amputee.

On Alta High School FCCLA’s Instagram (alta.fccla), it says, “If you buy socks, the money will go towards buying a leg for an amputee…”

If you go to the website, you can see the variety of design choices. Three pairs of socks costs $12. Also featured on the website is an icon showing how close FCCLA is to raising enough money for the prosthetic leg.

As the holiday season is coming around the corner, these would be a perfect gift with funds going toward an amazing cause. The socks can be worn year round! Sizes range from children, women, and men.  Some designs include: Festive Feet, Grey Day, and Music 4 Ever.

The FCCLA Members wrote, “The loss of a limb is just the first loss in the cycle.” Losing a limb will affect your everyday life. Although it will be a life long struggle, getting a prosthetic leg will help the amputee in so many ways.

Help support Alta High School FCCLA’s campaign, buy some socks today!
