Alta High’s Winter Baseball Program!
Come prep for the 2022 baseballs season!
Are you interested in playing Baseball this year for Alta? Our team is hosting a winter program Starting January 3rd every week Monday-Thursday at 6-8 pm in the hawk house. During this program the team will be preparing for tryouts which start at the end of February and go into the beginning of March. To prepare they will hit in the batting cages, fielders will take ground balls, and pitchers will start pitching bullpens to get ready. When the weathers nice the team will do long toss outside to get their arms in shape.
According to Coach Connelly, “This program is a good way for players that played last year to come back and get ready for the upcoming season. Its also a good way for our new players who haven’t been in the program before to come and show the coaches who they are and how hard they can work so when tryouts come around, the coaches don’t have no clue who they are.”
So if you are interested in joining the team, make sure you make it out to some of these practices!
