Halloween traditions
Halloween is one of the best holidays to create traditions for. Without it, civilization would never be the same.
Students at Alta High love to do various activities for Halloween. These are some students who do fun things in the days leading up to, and the day of Halloween.
There are plenty of basic but cool Halloween-related activities that people enjoy.
“I take my siblings Trick-or-Treating,” Amelia Archer said.
Drew Monson likes Halloween because he can hang out with his friends and go to Halloween parties. “I especially like costume parties,” he said. “This year I’ll be Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer from the 1970s.”
Moriah Francis likes going to Halloween parties as well and she plans on dressing as a fairy Godmother.
J.D. Carrillo likes doing an activity that requires a lot of skill. “Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite traditions, even though I’m not that good at it. My best one was a dragon design.”
Zamara Pendleton likes visiting family on Halloween. She and her cousins go to their grandma’s house where they take pictures and play games.
There are some unique things students do on Halloween, as well.
Brandon Young says he watches movies on Halloween. “I like to watch Harry Potter and eat candy at home.” He doesn’t actually like Trick-or-treating.
“I enjoy going to a neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat.” Says Luke Jueschke. A Trunk-or-Treat is like Trick-or-Treating, but out of the backs of cars in a parking lot.”
Tobin Morgan likes to play pranks. “I like ding-dong ditching people with my friends.”
Lisa Green enjoys making Root Beer for Halloween, and Andrew Davis goes to parties with people who know Karate.
These fun activities are just a few traditions we have for everyone’s favorite holiday.
