Movie review- Wicked: For Good

The new wicked movie “Wicked: For Good” just hit theaters on November 21, 2025. Wicked: For Good‘s opening weekend surpassed the original Wicked‘s opening of $112.5 million domestically and $164 million globally. Making this movie the best opening in 2025. I recently went to watch it in theaters when it came out. This movie was very well put together. The actors in the movie did a fantastic job. The main characters were Ariana Grande as Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. When watching this movie I noticed that the screen was always full of color. There was also a very deep emotional sincerity of the Elphaba and Glinda friendship. Elphaba disappears after the end of the first movie, and Glinda is wishing for her to return. While Elphaba tries to let people know her discovery that the wizard is bad, after finding out in the first movie. Even though Elphaba is just trying to show the truth there are many people in the town that are making her look like the bad guy. The movie is about Elphaba trying to let people know of the truth and finding Glinda again. There are many emotional moments throughout this movie, as well as betrayal. Wicked: For Good is a phenomenal musical, action, and fantasy movie. I would highly recommend watching this movie if you have not already. Overall this movie was such a good movie and had so many great actors, senses, props, etc.
