Valentine’s Day Sock Drive

This Valentine's Day, HOSA and Hope Squad are organizing a sock drive.

During the month of February, Hope Squad and HOSA are running a sock donation event. The drive will start on February 7 and run until February 18. Mark your calendars and get ready to donate!

A bag or a bin will be placed in each advisory to collect the donated socks. You can bring any kind of socks to donate, whether they are fuzzy, knee-high, short, or have fun, appropriate patterns. They ask that the socks be as new as possible, and that there are no spots that have worn through.

We want to let the students know that we are here for them.

— Ms. DeVeny, Hope Squad Advisor

This donation event is meant to bring more love and positivity to this Valentine’s Day. Brought to you by HOSA and Hope Squad, they have teamed up to show their support for the mental and physical health of the students.

The Hope Squad advisor, Ms. DeVeny, spoke about why HOSA and Hope Squad are working together. “By teaming up, we have a combined effort to promote student’s physical as well as mental health. We want to let the students know that we are here for them”.

To find more information, head to the Hope Squad advisory 2319 and speak to Ms. DeVeny or look for the fliers that will be placed around the school.
