The Stage is Set in 1959: Alta’s 2022 Murder Mystery

The 2022 murder mystery cast is gearing up for this year’s tense and thrilling experiene. With only two weeks of rehearsals they are working hard to pull the improv dinner together.

The cast consists of roughly 25 people all who contribute to the final performance making the audience interaction a key point of the show experience.

“Murder Mystery is so fun and is so exciting to experience a new type of theater, a theater where we interact with the audience and improv the content,” says Performer Ella Gardner.

The actors were each specifically chosen for their unique skill set when it comes to improv.

“I can’t wait to show the audiences the hard work we’ve been putting in to make this show truly exceptional, the audiences won’t know what hit the with the talent we have” says student director Alex Lilinquest.

This year’s theme, “The Twilight Zone,” brings new expectations to the performance with high aspirations that look like they will be exceeded. The story takes place in the 50s and shows off each actor individually.

The show will be performed December 9th at 5 and 7:30 pm; dinner is served during the show in 3 courses while participants anticipate the plot and find out who the true murderer or murderess could be.
