Many people love going up Cottonwood Canyon, it is a common sight to visit when you are here. If you live here, most people have at least been up there once. It is fun all year round, being able to ski, hike, run, or other activities. It is a very common sight seeing spot too, especially in the fall when the season is changing.
The little Cottonwood Canyon is trying to prevent traffic or otherwise known as “the red snake”(because of the trail of lights from cars). The answer they came up with is creating a gondola. It has created a lot of adversity throughout Sandy. There is now a court case against the people making the Gondola. Utah Department of Transportation taken a break because of the proposed court case. If they were to lose the court case, they would let other decision makers choose how to solve the traffic problem.
