With blooming flowers comes blooming relationships. Whether it be with a friend or a special someone, students are dancing to the romance of life. The Sweethearts dance is this Saturday, and this year it’s a 1950s diner theme. Think polka dot dresses and waitress aprons. 

As you walk in to the door, you’re greeted by a jukebox and vibrant lights. Dancing along to the rave music and classic bangers. You can feel the bass thumping through the air as people excitedly danced. Although it’s ridiculously hot, the huge fans and water fountains keep everyone cool. Students are moshing and singing along to every song. It definitely is a night to remember! Shout out to FCCLA and the robotics club for setting up all of the decorations. Although sweethearts was a blast, it is time to start prepping for the next one! The next dance this year is prom, on March 21st. Don’t forget, this year’s prom theme is “time after time.” Remember, prom is boy’s pref so start making your posters! Hope to see you there, go hawks!
